  • Orders are shipped via Royal Mail (or another courier) with Next Working Day Service within the UK (Tuesday-Saturday)
  • We aim to deliver all orders within 24 hours, however, in some cases, delivery may take up to 48 hours
  • We use thermo-insulated packaging and icepacks to ensure your order reaches you in good condition
  • Orders can be dispatched the same day if placed before 10:00 (except Saturday, Sunday and holidays)
  • Orders placed after 12:00 will be dispatched the next business day and delivered the day after the next day

Why freeze fine fish?

We only sell frozen fish. We guarantee that it is of the highest quality and we will refund your money if you do not agree. "Highest quality" means that we select higher grades of fish and that it was very fresh at the point of freezing.

Why do we sell only frozen fish? Because we believe that OUR frozen fish will give you the same eating experience as buying fish at the quayside and eating it straightaway.

Frozen fish is highly convenient and unlike fresh fish, does not need to be eaten immediately. It is a myth that frozen fish is inferior to fresh (although the myth is perhaps logical). What really counts though is the quality of the fish that was frozen.

For the utmost freshness and quality, all Attilus caviar and sturgeon products are dispatched on an overnight delivery service with gel ice packs and thermo-insulated packaging keeping items perfectly chilled for up to 24 hours.

All varieties of caviar weighing up to 250 g are supplied in tins. Products of greater weight are delivered in standard plastic packages.

Delivery Terms

Dispatch usually takes place either the day you place your order (depending on the time of day your order is placed (i.e. before @NOMINATED_DATE.weekdays.cutoff_time) or the day before your nominated delivery date. This process is entirely dependent on your nominated delivery date. While we usually dispatch your goods to your exact requirements, there may be occasions that we have to place your order in a queue, where it may take us up to 2 additional days to process your order. If this is the case, we will contact you as soon as possible by telephone or email to discuss a revised delivery date with you to minimize any inconvenience this may cause.

If you are not home to receive your order, please leave a signed note to tell the courier where he/she can place or deliver the order close to your house. You are responsible for the delivery after that.

If your order has not arrived within its allotted timeframe, please check with the delivery company using your tracking number, or contact us as soon as possible.


Customer Satisfaction and Refunds

Naturally we want you to be delighted with your purchases from Attilus, so we recommend putting products in the fridge straight away to keep them in perfect condition.

Unopened, our caviar normally has sufficient shelf life. Once opened, we recommend consuming it within 1-2 days. For best before dates on sturgeon products, please see individual packaging. 

If for any reason you are unsatisfied with your purchase, then please do get in touch so we can make suitable arrangements for an exchange, return or refund.

Normally we don’t offer a refund as we cannot be sure how the caviar has been kept and we don’t resell a product to another customer once it has been sent out and returned. Under special circumstances however, we will offer a part or full refund.

All prices include VAT, which is charged at 16%.

Our credit/debit card system, including security, is provided by WorldPay, one of the world's largest providers of such services.

Storage suggestions

Bei -18°C mindestens haltbar bis: siehe Verpackung. Nach dem Auftauen nicht wieder einfrieren! Haltbar bis zu drei Tage nach Lieferung bei Lagerung im Kühlschrank bei maximal +2° C.

The images of Caviar on our web site are intended for illustrative purposes only. Because Caviar is a natural product, variations in colour and roe size are to be expected.

If you're not happy with your caviar, and as long you let us know what the problem is, we will always replace the product or refund your credit card or credit your account with the relevant amount without quibble.
